The first ever elimination chamber match in the history, the match came as a topping to one of the best pay-per-views that WWE produced.
Packed with Hall of Famers, it was one of the best elimination chamber matches as well. Mr. Monday night Raw, RVD and Booker started off the match. RVD was the first to go out after a drop kick from Booker.
Booker was the second to be eliminated when Kane and Jericho combined to do the same. Kane then took the pedigree, Sweet chin music and the lion sault before he was eliminated. A quick-fire elimination of Jericho in the hands of Michaels left the two best friends in the ring for the final battle.
The two would bring the house down that night as the match went to and fro. Finally a bloodied Michaels emerged as the first ever elimination chamber winner and win his only world heavyweight championship.

The title was vacated at that time because of the simultaneous pin of Triple H by Edge and Benoit. And the lights of Orton, Jericho and Batista were added into the mix to make a thrilling match.
And to make things more interesting, Shawn Michaels was added as the special guest referee. Jericho eliminated Edge first then would take a spine buster from Batista onto a motionless Benoit.
The Animal cleared out Jericho and Benoit in a jiffy leaving him with Triple H and their former Evolution team mate Randy Orton.
However, Orton laid down Batista with an RKO but didn’t match up to Triple H who regained his title with a pedigree.

A mixture of various techniques, the match had a lot at stakes which made it more compelling. Umaga dominated the match early on and proved to everyone that why he was known as a brutal force in the business.
JBL was the first to be eliminated after a code breaker from Jericho. Umaga would then fall to a combination of finishers like the sweet chin music, code breaker, a pedigree and a Swanton bomb. Hardy would then pin Jericho while Triple H eliminated his DX partner.
Hardy and Hunter was the last two to be standing in the ring. Triple H then required a pedigree on the steel chair to knock out the daredevil and win the match.

In one of the rare occurrences, Edge showed why he is highly acclaimed by the professional wrestling world as he took part in two elimination chamber matches in one night. Edge took out the original contender Kofi Kingston to enter the match.
And though he lost the first one, Ede would strike back with vengeance by winning the second. Kane and Knox were the first to be eliminated which was followed by a stunning elimination of John Cena. With the champ gone it was sure that a new champion would be crowned.
Mysterio then eliminated Jericho to set up another showdown with Edge. The ultimate opportunist repeated history by defeating Mysterio and went on to head line WrestleMania 25.

This was one of the high points of Cena’s first ever WWE championship reign. He was pitted up against tag team partners Carlito and Master, chamber veterans Kane and Shawn Michaels along with Kurt Angle who was determined to end Cena’s reign.
Angle began to clean house early in the match but was cut short by a super kick from Michaels. then Masters and Carlito would show their tag team chemistry as the duo eliminated Kane and Michaels in shocking fashion.
As always, Cena would then fight off the odds and come out as winner of the match after defeating Carlito. But the joy didn’t last long as Edge would cash in his money in the bank contract to win his first WWE Championship.

6 -Summerslam 2003- World Heavyweight Championship Match: Triple H (c) vs. Chris Jericho vs. Goldberg vs. Kevin Nash vs. Randy Orton vs. Shawn Michaels

The match lineup had some of the most decorated names in the history of professional wrestling and to an extent the match lived up to the expectations.
Goldberg and Kevin Nash might’ve been icons at WCW but they had a completely different job at WWE. Nash was the first to be eliminated by a combined effort of Michaels and Jericho. But the show was stolen by Goldberg after he eliminated Michaels, Orton and Jericho with his spears and jackhammers.
Thus the match came down to the current champion Triple H and the dominant Goldberg. But what the fans expected didn’t happen as the game walked home with the title after some help from Ric Flair.

7-No Way Out 2008- Winner Receives World Heavyweight Championship Match At Wrestlemania 24: Batista vs. Big Daddy V vs. Finlay vs. The Great Khali vs. MVP vs. Undertaker

The No Way Out pay-per-view of 2008 was capped with two great elimination matches and this was the first of the two. A line up involving Big Daddy V and Khali doesn’t sound that exciting but thankfully they were the first two to be eliminated which left MVP and Finlay to pick the scraps of Taker and Batista.
From the four men, MVP was eliminated first by Taker who tossed him from the top of a pod. Taker then went on to eliminate Finlay with a choke slam onto the steel.
It was the animal vs. the deadman at the last moment but the night belonged to Taker as he emerged victorious with a tombstone pile driver which set up his match against Edge at WrestleMania.

8- No Way Out 2009- WWE Championship Match:  Edge (c) vs. Big Show vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Triple H vs. Undertaker vs. Vladimir Kozlov

This was another match which involved Edge as the champion. But this time he didn’t have the luxury of keeping the title as he was pitted against much better opponents.
In fact, Edge was the first one to be eliminated after he was on the receiving side of Jeff Hardy. Kozlov then exited the chamber when Taker gave him a last ride. Hardy then eliminated Big Show with a death defying Swanton bomb, leaving him, Triple H and Undertaker in the ring.
Hardy then was eliminated by Taker’s pile driver but the dead man would then fall for Triple H’s pedigree. The Game won the match fair and square and got one over Taker at the same time.

9- Elimination Chamber 2011- World Heavyweight Championship Match: Edge (c) vs. Big Show vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Kane vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Wade Barrett

For five superstars it was an opportunity to headline WrestleMania against Alberto Del Rio, who won the first ever 40-man Royal Rumble but for Edge it was a hell bound defense of his title.
And no one expected that the Rated R superstar would be walking out of the pay-per-view with the title around his waist.
Edge started off the match with Rey Mysterio but then all the six superstars would end up in the same ring, which is rarest of the rare occasions for this type of match. Then the eliminations piled up with Barrett being the first victim.
Big Show would then take four finishers before going down with McIntyre and Kane following. The two men who started the match would also end it as Mysterio locked horns with Edge. The champion then produced a hall of fame performance to keep the title around his waist.

10- Elimination Chamber 2010- World Heavyweight Championship Match: The Undertaker vs. Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho vs. R Truth vs. John Morrison

It’s not every day that you see Undertaker defend the World Heavyweight Championship in a Elimination chamber and its definetly not every day that you see him lose that match.
Punk started off the match against Truth which resulted in the rapping superstar’s elimination before anyone else came in. Punk would then be eliminated by Mysterio which was followed by the entry of Jericho and Morrison. Taker was last to come in but made an instant impact by eliminating Morrison, who earlier mesmerized the fans with his athleticism.
Jericho and Taker would be the last two men in the ring and then the twist in the tale happened. As Jericho was out and cold, Shawn Michaels would come from under the ring to execute sweet chin music to Taker.  Jericho then utilized the situation and won the match which set up a clash against Edge at WrestleMania while Taker would go on to end the career of Michaels.
