This Week's WWE RAW Results (10/2/14)

We open the show with Betty White. Betty White is accompanied by the Big Show. Betty White says she couldn’t be more thrilled to be the guest for Raw tonight. Big Show asks what they are doing tonight and White says she is going to kick some a**. Triple H and Stephanie come out.  Triple H and Big Show have a stare down as Hunter and Stephanie make their way down to the ring while Big Show and Betty White head to the back. Triple H says that he wants to start out saying that he wants to clear up some confusion from last week. He says that last week if Daniel Bryan beat Orton he could be the face of the WWE. He wants people to know that he didn’t say that means its a guarantee. He says everyone in the Chamber could be the face of the WWE. Out comes Orton.
Stephanie asks why Orton has to interrupt them again. Orton says that he has been doing some thinking and that he wants to apologize to both of them. He says that he has been childish and selfish and in order to get what he wants, he has to make them happy. He then says that for the rest of the championship reign he will be the heart. Stephanie asks how they can trust him and he says it from the heart. He says that 6 months ago in this arena he became the face of the WWE when he beat Daniel Bryan. He wants to be the face of the WWE inside the ring as well as outside the ring. He says he is the heart and soul of the WWE and Daniel Bryan comes out.
Daniel Bryan asks if Orton really thinks if he is the heart and soul, as he reminds him of a different body part. Stephanie says she doesn’t like either of them interrupting them, and if they need to talk to them then they need to go to Kane. Bryan says hes no where to be found unless he is trying to interrupt his matches. He says he wants to face Kane tonight. Stephanie says he has the week off and that they are evaluating his performance. Bryan asks who is evaluating them because there decisions seem to be based off stupidity. Orton says not to talk to them like that and Bryan brings up Orton’s past with Hunter and Stephanie. Hunter says to Bryan that he will do whats best for business tonight and give him the night off. Bryan chants No as the segment ends.
We are told Mark Henry returns tonight, as well as The Brotherhood and Rey Mysterio vs The Wyatt Family which is up next.
The Brotherhood and Rey Mysterio vs The Wyatt Family
Rowan and Cody start off the match. Rowan takes down Cody, but Cody hits a dropkick to take him down. Goldust is tagged and but Rowan hits a shoulder take down. Rowan tags in Harper, and Harper continues the beat down. Goldust fights back and hits a hurricanrana and tags in Cody. Cody hits a springboard dropkick as Harper falls to the outside. Rey is tagged in and Cody throws Rey to the outside on Harper. Harper is down on the outside as we head to commercial.
We return with Rowan in control over Goldust. Harper is tagged and hits a big boot for a 2 count. Harper continues with some kicks to the head, and tags in Bray. Bray mounts Goldust and beats him with multiple punches, and then tags in Rowan. Rowan throws Goldust in the turnbuckle, and Goldust falls over from the force of the throw. Rowan tries to do the same but Goldust hits a back elbow. Goldust tries to make the tag but Rowan stops him. Goldust gets over Rowan but Harper is tagged and stops the tag. Goldust hits a powerslam and makes the tag to Rey!
Rey begins his comeback on Harper, and finishes it off with a DDT. Rey goes for the cover but Bray breaks it up. Rey gets Harper and Bray in position for the 619 and he hits it on Harper. Bray gets taken out by Cody and Goldust takes out Rowan. Harper makes a blind tag to Bray and Bray hits the Sister Abagail for the win.
Winners: The Wyatt Family
Bray says that everyone before them has failed, and that the Shield will have the same fate. He says that this is not a war that they should be in, and that they will fall just in time for his next war. The camera cuts and we head to commercial.
We return and given a video package of Roman Reigns elimination record at the Rumble. We go backstage with Renee Young and The Shield. Renee asks there response to the Wyatts. Reigns says actions speak louder than words. Rollins says they speak in absolutes, not riddles. Renee says that Ambrose hasn’t defended his title in awhile. Reigns also questions him and Ambrose says that he will have an open challenge for the title tonight.
We then go backstage with the Total Divas and Betty White. The New Age Outlaws come in and say they will protect Betty from pranks tonight. They ask if she wants some tea and she goes off with them.
We are then show a video package of Orton and Cena’s I Quit Match. We are then told Sheamus and Christian will face the Real Americans tonight. Santino and Emma come out next.
Fandango vs Santino Marella
Santino starts the match off with a take down, but Fandango then takes control. Santino tries to kip up but cant. The Miz comes out and goes on the microphone again and complains that he isn’t on the show. Santino hits a hip toss but misses on the splash. Fandango goes to the top rope and hits the leg drop for the 3 count.
Winner: Fandango
We go backstage with Sheamus. Sheamus is asked about the Elimination Chamber. Sheamus says he is glad he is back, and he is okay with teaming with Christian tonight. He says he isn’t taking the Chamber lightly, and that he will define his legacy that night. The tag team match is up next.
Christian and Sheamus vs The Real Americans
Cesaro and Christian start the match. Cesaro takes Christian down, and lifts him up and then takes him down again. Swagger is tagged in and is rolled up for a 2 count. Christan hits a kick to the head, and a missile dropkick for a 2 count. Sheamus is tagged in and begins the beat down on Swagger. Sheamus hits a suplex, but is then taken down with a knee from Swagger. Cesaro is tagged in and tries for a hip toss, but is clotheslined down by Sheamus. Sheamus continues to work Cesaro, and they begin to have an exchange in uppercuts. Sheamus goes up top and hits a shoulder block for a 2 count. Cesaro is able to hit a big boot on Sheamus to the outside as we head to commercial.
We return with Sheamus hitting an Irish Curse on Cesaro. Christian is tagged in and begins to work his comeback on Cesaro. Christian goes for the Killswitch but is caught with the lifting uppercut for a 2 count. Swagger is tagged in and continues the offense on Christian. Swagger hits the Swagger Bomb and Cesaro does the leap frog footstomp for the 2 count. Christian fights back and tries to make the tag but is caught into the Cesaro Swing. Swagger is tagged back and in and hits a slam on Christian for a 2 count. Christian fights back and tags in Sheamus. Sheamus begins his comeback on Swagger, and follows it with his clubs to the chest in the ropes. Sheamus goes for the Brogue Kick but Cesaro stops him. Swagger puts Sheamus in the Patriot Lock but Christian breaks it up. Christian takes out Cesaro and Sheamus hits the Brogue Kick on Swagger for the 3 count.
Winners: Christian and Sheamus
We go backstage with John Cena. He is asked about tonight’s match. John Cena says that for the past 10 years him and Orton have dominated. John Cena says times have changed with the support of Daniel Bryan and others. He says tonight he closes his rivalry with Orton, and that he is going to make a statement to everyone in the locker room; if you want to carry the future of this company, you will have to go through me. We then cut to commercial.
We are shown a video package of Batista’s most devastating Batista Bomb’s.
Dolph Ziggler vs Alberto Del Rio
Del Rio starts off extremely aggressive, but Ziggler retaliates with a dropkick. Dolph then hits 10 straight elbows. Dolph goes for the Zig Zag and misses, but then hits the Fame Asser for a 2 count. Ziggler then gets hit with an arm breaking DDT and a kick to head for the 3 count.
Winner: Alberto Del Rio

Del Rio continues the beat down but Batista comes out for the save. Batista throws Del Rio into the Steel Steps, and then hits a Batista Bomb through the table. Batista stands tall. We are told the next inductee into the Hall of Fame will be announced next.
We go backstage and Triple H confronts Batista saying that he can’t do what he just did. He says he can have Del Rio at the Chamber, and Batista says that he guesses the people were right how everything has changed.
We are told the next inductee into the Hall of Fame is Lita!
We go backstage with Betty White and The New Age Outlaws. Road Dogg puts something in Betty Whites tea, but she switches it with Billy Gunn’s when they aren’t looking.
Curtis Axel and Ryback vs The Usos
Jey and Axel start the match off. Jey takes control first and tags Jimmy in early. Axel however hits a dropkick and tags in Ryback. Ryback begins to beat Jimmy down in the corner, and then begins to hit a shoulder block in the corner. Axel is tagged in and hits a big knee to the head on Jimmy. Ryback is tagged in and continues to keep Jimmy grounded. Ryback brings Jimmy to the top but Jimmy hits a corkscrew and both men are down. Jey and Axel are tagged in and Jey begins his hot tag sequence. Jey hits a Samoan drop and Jimmy takes out Ryback. Jey hits a superkick and tags in Jimmy Uso while hitting a suicide tag on Ryback, and Jimmy hits the splash for the 3 count.
Winners: The Usos
The Usos and The New Age Outlaws stand off until Billy Gunn has to run off. Dean Ambrose is defending his U.S title next.
Dean Ambrose vs Mark Henry – United States Championship
Ambrose and Henry lock up and Henry throws him out of the ring. Ambrose tries to regroup and decides to get back in the ring. Ambrose hits some kicks to the chest in the corner, but Mark Henry once again takes him down. Henry throws him into the corner twice, and then finally throws him into the ring post. Ambrose tries to escape but Henry brings him back into the ring. Ambrose finally gets some control, and takes the brace off of Henry’s elbow. Henry throws Ambrose out of the ring and Ambrose is down as we head to commercial.
We return with Ambrose in control over Mark Henry. Ambrose hits a DDT on the arm of Henry, and continues to work on the injured elbow. Ambrose goes up top but Henry throws him off. Henry begins his comeback and hits the World’s Strongest Slam! Mark Henry goes for the cover but is broken up by Seth Rollins. Henry tries to fend off the Shield but Reigns hits a spear on the outside.
Winner (By: DQ): Mark Henry
The Shield stand tall over Henry, but out come The Wyatts. The Shield come back to the ring  as both teams are on opposing sides of the apron. Reigns enters the ring, and then Bray enters. Bray leaves right away and the Wyatt’s step down. All three members of the Shield stand tall in the ring as the Wyatt Family retreats.
AJ, Alica Fox, and Aksana vs The Bella Twins and Cameron
Nikki and AJ start off the match. AJ hits a kick to the head on Nikki, but Nikki hits a dropkick and gains back control. AJ goes to the outside and comes back in, tagging in Aksana. Nikki hits a dropkick to the back of Aksana and gets a 2 count. Brie is tagged in and hits a splash in the corner. Brie is distracted and Aksana hits a spinebuster, but only gets a two count. Alicia is tagged in and tries for a back breaker but is rolled up for a 2 count. Alicia however isolates Brie from her corner, and then Nikki is taken off the corner by Alica. Nikki tags in Cameron and she begins to clean house, followed by a hurricanrana on Alicia. Cameron then hits a low dropkick for a 2 count.
Alicia however hits a knee to the face and tags in Aksana. Cameron then hits a snaps DDT on Aksana for a 3 count.
Winners: The Bella Twins and Cameron
We are given a tale of the tape between Orton and Cena as we head to commercial break.
We are given a promo vignette for Alexander Rusev.
Kane makes his way to the ring, even though he was told he was given a week off. Kane says that he accepts his punishment from the Authority, and that his actions were his own, and not from the Authority. Out comes Daniel Bryan! Daniel Bryan rushes to the ring and they begin to brawl. Kane goes for the chokeslam but Bryan gets out of the way! Bryan throws Kane to the outside and hits a suicide dive! Bryan then hits a dropkick on Kane over the barricade, and gets in the ring and begins to celebrate.
We are told John Cena vs Randy Orton is up next.
John Cena vs Randy Orton
Orton starts off with a headlock, but Cena gets out and hits a hip toss. Orton leaves the ring to get a breather, as Cena waits in the ring. Orton gets back in and is taken down by Cena. Cena puts Orton in a headlock, and when Orton gets out, Cena hits another hip toss that makes Orton leave the ring again. Orton gets back in and kicks Cena in the gut, finally giving him some momentum. Cena however gains control again with a bulldog. Orton fights back with an elbow, and he begins to mock the crowd. Orton begins to attack all of Cena’s limbs, and goes for an early cover and gets a 2 count.
Cena fights back and hits a suplex, but then is sidestepped by Orton and runs into the turnbuckle. Orton then kicks Cena to the outside, and then slams his head into the announce table. Orton then hits a back suplex on the barricade, and then brings Cena back into the ring. Orton only gets a 2 count, and continues the attack on Cena. Orton then mocks the crowd again, as we head back to commercial break.
We return with Orton in control. and Orton continuing to mock the crowd. Cena however catches him with a scoop slam and both men are down. Cena and Orton begin to exchange blows, and when Cena goes for the shoulder block, Orton ducks out of the way. Orton hits a suplex on Cena and gets a 2 count. Orton puts Cena in a headlock, and then snaps him with a DDT after reversing the AA. Orton goes for the cover but only gets a 2 count. Orton begins to stomp on all of Cena’s limbs, but Cena rolls him up and gets a 2 count. Cena then hits his comeback and goes for the AA, which he doesn’t hit, as Orton reversed it into a backbreaker. Orton then tries for the hangman DDT but is thrown to the outside instead.
Orton gets back in the ring and is caught in position for the AA, but reverses it again into a powerslam for a 2 count. Orton goes up top with Cena,  but Cena stops him and pushes him off. Orton however catches him with a hangman DDT from the top rope and then begins to call for the RKO. Orton goes for the RKO but it is reversed into the STF. Orton however reaches the ropes and Cena has to break the count. Orton gets back up and hits a dropkick, with both men now down and out.
Orton gets up and goes for the Punt but misses, and then is set up for the AA but is reversed into the RKO! Orton goes for the cover but only gets a 2 count. Cena gets up and hits an AA out of nowhere but Orton kicks out at 2! Cena brings Orton to the top rope and sets him up for a top rope AA, but Orton gets out. Cena however hits the top rope leg drop, and then follows it with an AA. Cena goes for the cover and gets a 3 count.
Winner: John Cena
John Cena closes the show celebrating in the ring, as he has defeated the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
