Miami, Florida
“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads us into the show.
We’re brought into the arena, and Justin Roberts asks the crowd to welcome the Chief Operating Officer of WWE, Triple H. Triple H comes out to a nice reception. Michael Cole, Jerry “The King” Lawler, and JBL welcome us to the show. Cole talks about how Triple H will name John Cena’s opponent for Summerslam tonight. The crowd begins booing him as he says no one in the locker room wanted to look him in the eye because they were scared that he was going to blow a gasket over what happened last night. Triple H says the WWE World Heavyweight Championship did not come back to The Authority. It stayed on John Cena. That draws a lot of boos. Triple H says he’s very mad, madder than he’s been in a long time. He has options, so he’s going to tweet his displeasure. Triple H says he might even send an Instagram or a Vine. In that tweet, he is going to threaten and riot if he doesn’t get what he wants. If that doesn’t happen, then he and his friend Mark are going to stop watching. Triple H then says he could also just fire everyone in the back. Maybe he’ll fire the audience in the building and throw them out.
The other option is he can relax knowing that sooner or later he always wins. If he has to wait four more weeks until Summerslam to win, then so be it. Like a true genius once said, at Summerslam he can guaran-damn-tee that John Cena will no longer be the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. The question is who gets the opportunity.
Randy Orton comes out and asks if they’re really doing this. Orton asks about his rematch. He’s been waiting four months since WrestleMania. He’s owed a one-on-one rematch. It’s what he’s owed. Orton guarantees that if Triple H puts him in a one-on-one match against Cena at Summerslam, he will beat him. Triple H says he appreciates the confidence. While he makes a compelling argument for why he should get the match, he hasn’t made up his mind. Orton is a front-runner. Triple H says the entire roster is going to have an opportunity to convince him. Triple H says he wants someone to go the extra mile and show him that they want it more than anything in their life. Orton says if Kane had done his duty and job, he’d be standing in the ring as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Orton says Triple H can’t be considering Kane.
Kane’s pyro hits, and he makes his way out to the ring. Kane gets in the ring and says he hopes he is being considered to face John Cena. Kane says he knows that he can beat Cena and bring the title back to The Authority as long as he’s not acting as Orton’s protector. Kane says he is tired of babysitting.
Roman Reigns’ music hits, and he makes his way to the ring through the crowd to a tremendous reception. Reigns gets on the apron and says if they’re going to have a conversation about the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, then his name belongs in it. Last time he checked, no one wants to see John Cena versus Kane. No one wants to see Randy Orton versus John Cena again. Everyone wants to see John Cena versus Roman Reigns. That gets a huge pop from the crowd. Reigns gets in the ring and says, “Believe that!” Reigns then takes Kane out with a Superman Punch! Triple H and Randy Orton get out of the ring. Triple H then says he believes right now Roman Reigns is going to have a match against Kane and Randy Orton! Triple H believes that is going to happen right now.

She went from a world famous Diva to just another face in the crowd. Stephanie says it’s quite fitting. Why is she in this position? The Highlight Reel with special guest Bray Wyatt

“Miami… we’re here.”

The crowd is booing The Wyatts. Wyatt asks where Jericho is. Where is the savior? Jericho isn’t here for them, but he here for them. Wyatt says he is here for them just like he has been everyday since he’s been around. Wyatt says he can read their thoughts. They think that just because Jericho had his arm raised last night that it means he’s the better man. Wyatt laughs before asking if they really think he would burden himself with such petty, squeamish things. Wyatt doesn’t mind a loss in the battle because it is the war that counts. War is his game. He created war, and it wasn’t so long ago that The Wyatt Family entered a WWE ring for the very first time. In their short reign of terror, they have dismantled giants, destroyed monsters, and most importantly have brought so-called heroes to their knees. Wyatt asks Jericho who in the hell he thinks he’s dealing with. He is Bray Wyatt, the eater of worlds, and he is every bit the monster they think he is. Jericho will find that he can’t measure him the way he does a normal man. You can’t measure him by the amount of dollar bills in his pocket because society is his plaything. You can’t measure him by the days of the year because time is irrelevant to him. He lives a hundred years a day. There has been something reoccurring in his head since last night. It’s something Abigail used to say to him. She told him to be careful when he chases vengeance because you have to dig two graves: one for your enemy and one for yourself. Unfortunately for Jericho, he is forever. Wyatt then drops to his knees and says, “Follow the buzzards!”
Trainers are checking on Chris Jericho backstage. Jericho is bleeding from his ear. The commentators talk about what just happened.
