John Cena’s music hits, and the WWE World Heavyweight Champion makes his way to the ring to a tremendous reception. A replay is shown of Kane trying to attack Cena last week on RAW only for Roman Reigns to take him out with a Spear. Cena and Reigns then took turns raising each other’s hands. Tonight’s main event will see John Cena team with Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns to take on Randy Orton, Kane, and Seth Rollins. Cena says now that we know the main event for tonight, there’s only one thing left: The Champ is here! Cena says the crowd is feisty and ready for RAW. We’re only six days away from WWE Battleground, and he needs to say this so they all know that he told them so: if they haven’t signed up for the WWE Network, the free preview ends tonight. Go sign up. He says this because of the championship. Quite frankly, in six days at Battleground, the Champ may not be here. The Authority has put him in a Fatal Four Way match where he will square off against Kane, Randy Orton, and Roman Reigns. Reigns’ name gets the most cheers. This Sunday in the Fatal Four Way, the first superstar to get a pinfall or submission is the champion. He doesn’t even have to get pinned to lose the championship.
Roman Reigns’ music hits, and he makes his way to the ring through the crowd. The crowd gives him a great hand. Reigns gets in the ring, and he soaks in the cheers. Cena says Richmond, Virginia is chanting his name, so he introduces him to the crowd to a great reaction. Cena says Reigns is his partner tonight, and then they’ll face off on Sunday. Cena thanks him for helping him last week. Cena says it was a cute little stunt at the end of the show. Reigns’ message is loud and clear: he is not to be ignored. On Sunday, it’s every man for himself, but they have to make it to Sunday. He understands that Reigns doesn’t trust anybody… and Reigns says, “Get to the damn point, John.” Cena does a double take before saying they should handle The Authority tonight. If he wants, they can get Kane and Orton out of the way. Then on Sunday, we can see if Reigns thinks he’s as good as he says he is. Reigns says that sounds like a good idea. Then it’ll just be him and Cena, and we can see if Cena is really as good as HE thinks he is.
Dean Ambrose appears on the titantron. Ambrose understands the testosterone-driven competitiveness that’s going on, but enough of the “prettiest girl at the dance” fighting. They’re not dancing tonight. They’re fighting. They’ve got a six-man tag against Kane, Orton, and Triple H’s bag boy, Seth Rollins. The Authority always has a plan, but he has a plan of his own tonight. His plan is called “Operation Screw The Authority.” It starts when they stop arguing, get together, and kick their asses. Kane then appears at Ambrose’s side, as does Rollins. Orton comes in as well, and they triple-team Ambrose before throwing him into some pipes. Ambrose still runs into them, and Kane sends him into a garage door. Orton and Rollins then whip him twice into the door for good measure. Orton holds him up while Rollins and Kane take turns punching him. Rollins then sends him into the garage door one more time before they put the boots to him. Rollins throws him into a wall before Kane gives him a Chokeslam onto a crate. Ambrose takes a few moments before saying, “Is that all you guys got?” Rollins then goes on top of the crate and gives him the Curb Stomp on another crate!

United States-Russia Détente with Jack Swagger and Rusev
Michael Cole welcomes Lana and Rusev, who are already in the ring. Two podiums are set up, one with a Russian Federation flag and the other with a United States flag. Cole then introduces Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter. They come out to a tremendous reception with an American flag. Colter says the reason for this détente is to work toward the easing of tensions and hostilities that have plagued these nations for years. Lana has said some negative things about this country, which has led to Mr. Colter… they’re interrupted by thunderous “USA” chants. These words have led Mr. Colter to make a challenge on behalf of Jack Swagger to challenge Rusev at WWE Battleground. Cole asks if Lana wants to respond.
Lana speaks in her native tongue before saying to Colter that him and America are the same. They simply choose violence to solve all their problems. America wants to be the savior of the world, yet they can’t save themselves. They’re only showing their desperation and are stupid. The crowd is stupid, as is America. The crowd loudly boos this before chanting “USA.” Lana screams for them to shut up. She’s talking to our stupid Americans. The country at birth was so stupid that when they won their freedom from the British, they decided to fight one another in a Civil War like savages. America is so stupid. Mother Russia has always been and always will be a peace loving country. She thinks they can come to an understanding. She wants Colter and Swagger to admit their mistakes (she has to tell the crowd to shut up again) and admit the country’s mistakes. Lana demands an apology.
Zeb Colter cannot believe she wants him to apologize. They’re visitors to this country and want him to apologize. He’s going to tell her and “Bullwinkle” something. Many years ago, he laid face down in a jungle, in the mud and the muck with bullets flying over his head and mortars going off. He didn’t do that for two peg legs to come in and badmouth the country. When he went over there, he took a vow to protect the United States from enemies both foreign and domestic, which both of them are. Just so there is no misunderstanding, his answer is, “Not no, but hell no!” A loud “USA” chant breaks out. Lana says their arrogance is the reason why the USA is crumbling into pieces. There is hope. One man is the remedy to solve and help the nation’s disastrous situation. He is the world leader, Vladimir Putin. Putin’s image appears on the titantron. Colter says that is one ugly man. They have a leader as well – the President of the United States. Barak Obama’s image is shown. Whether we like him or not, he is still our president, and Real Americans always respect the Presidency of the United States.
Colter says he’s done with her. He’s here to talk to Rusev. If Rusev doesn’t understand, she can translate. Colter asks when Rusev is going to step out from behind this woman and accept Jack Swagger’s challenge for WWE Battleground. Colter says, “Is it a ‘yes’ or a ‘nyet?’” Rusev takes the microphone and speaks in his native tongue. Rusev then says, “This is war!” Colter says that sounds like a “yes” to him. Lana leads Rusev out of the ring. Colter says he’s often wondered who wears the pants or skirt in the group. Now he knows. Before this Sunday, he wants Lana to teach Rusev three words: We the people!
Lana yells at Colter before slapping him in the face. Swagger quickly spears Rusev down and punches him. Lana quickly pulls Swagger’s hair, which allows Rusev to punch him before sending him into a podium. Rusev avalanches him in the corner before going for a thrust kick, but Swagger counters into the Patriot Lock! The crowd erupts with “USA” chants as Rusev claws his way out of the ring.

John Cena walks up to Roman Reigns, who is sitting in his locker room. Cena says Ambrose is out, which means it’s just him and Reigns against Kane, Orton, and Rollins. Cena says this was an obvious set up by The Authority. Cena demands that he stand up, and he does. Cena understands that he wants to be champion on Sunday, but he has to trust him. Neither of them will be champion on Sunday if they don’t get on the same page tonight. Reigns says no one knows the numbers game like he does. They took out one of them, but they’ll take out three of them in the end.
