Cm Punk has become stale.
This may be an unpopular opinion, but when drawing parallels between what CM Punk can do and what he is currently doing in WWE, his character looks repetitive and dull.
It seems not that long ago that every CM Punk pipe bomb had the WWE Universe on the edge of its collective seat, as he looked set to tear down the company figures that surrounded him. These days, all we see is a few miscellaneous "Best in the World" rants.
Watch some clips from before Money in the Bank 2011 and you will be disappointed with where we are now.
But there could be light at the end of the tunnel for the current WWE Champion in the form of Dean Ambrose.
Ambrose has shot up the card, from spinning his wheels in FCW to being the heartbeat of the exciting young faction The Shield. We have seen snippets of his excellent promo work, and fans of the independent wrestling scene know how prolific he is in the wrestling ring.
But how does this intertwine with the Straight Edge Superstar? Their paths have been threatening to collide with CM Punk consistently benefiting from The Shield's involvement in recent episodes of Raw and SmackDown. However, to really help rebuild the stale CM Punk character, there could be a completely different way.
With CM Punk all but certain to face The Rock at the Royal Rumble, and rumours circling of a meeting with the Undertaker at WrestleMania, he already has a packed schedule in frontof him
